Experience

  1. Fullstack Software Developer · monday.com

When a meaningful deal was on the line and the monday.com platform's native features couldn't quite meet the client's expectations, I was called in. Working within the Solutions Engineering team, you could trust that the client would be given the best possible configuration of the software for their use case.

When the ask was more unique than the platform offered, I offered custom implementations and proofs of concept, from simple frontends and integrations all the way to fully hosted full stack applications. Usually with only minutes to learn about a company and their use case, I was able to offer a deadline and set expectations. When that deadline arrived, the customer had a real, working, usable example of their solution. This work helped close deals across the board, many of them worth several hundred thousand dollars on their own.

As our team's identity adjusted over time, I worked on internal tools and skunkworks projects as well. As our team created new apps alongside the platform, I contributed critical features including MCP tools, frontend experiences, and CLI developer tools to interact with the app securely.

    • Fully designed and built proofs of concept that closed hundreds of thousands of dollars in recurring annual revenue
    • Countless phone calls with clients of all backgrounds, communicating problems and solutions tailored to my audience
    • Maintained and improved full stack AWS applications, working daily with React, Nest, and multiple DB libraries
    • Proposed, built, and presented multiple internal tools to expedite development processes across organizational teams
    • Worked daily with TypeScript and JavaScript technologies, AWS infrastructure, AI and MCP tools, and across platforms
  2. Fullstack Software Developer · Orb Group (formerly Edisen Inc)

Filming generates an enormous amount of data, especially at the professional level. A single day of filming with raw footage, at high resolution, can easily surpass gigabytes into terabytes and beyond. When a production needs a place to put these files, to preview, download, and share them, things get complicated fast.

I worked on a team that was creating a digital asset management (DAM) app. It handled enormous file uploads, sharing, and editing, across formats ranging from .txt to .R3D.

My time on the product was spent building and maintaining these features, using AWS and Node technologies to their fullest extent. I started as a junior on the team and built entire features for the app as I built myself up alongside it, taking on more responsibility as I went.

At the end of my time with Edisen, I was maintaining features, creating others, and working with the team in crisis moments to solve critical production issues.

    • Extended an analytics feature that displayed YouTube user interaction, adding the ability to see how it related to scenes identified by AWS Rekognition, plus downloadable PDF reports of the same data
    • Worked deeply with media and data in AWS, including S3 and multipart uploads, Rekognition, ffmpeg, and Lambda
    • Responded to critical production incidents alongside the team, diagnosing and fixing issues under live pressure
    • Built React interfaces with Redux and MUI against a modular Express API and MongoDB, with test coverage maintained through CI/CD
  3. Frontend Developer Consultant · Thrive Networking

Thrive is a consulting agency, which meant talking frequently with new clients with new projects. Someone would describe what their team needed, and I would translate those needs into a feature or app delivered.

Most of the work lived inside the Microsoft ecosystem: SharePoint APIs, React and Fluent UI on the frontend, often ExpressJS behind it, and deployed into Microsoft environments like Sharepoint or Azure. I developed an inventory tracking application, built custom SharePoint webparts as clients needed them, maintained an OKR collaboration app through weekly changes, and published React applications to clients' specifications.

This is the job where I learned to ask better questions before writing code, and it's the earliest version of the work I'd end up doing years later.

    • Designed, built, and delivered an inventory tracking application on SharePoint APIs with a React and Fluent UI frontend
    • Maintained and extended an OKR collaboration app across sprints, running ExpressJS with a React and Fluent UI Northstar frontend inside Microsoft Teams
    • Built and published custom SharePoint webparts in React for a range of client needs
    • Worked directly with clients to turn business requirements into scoped, deliverable software
  4. Software Developer, IT · Cyient

Met with clients to discuss business needs, clarify SOW requirements, and manage expectations from inception to execution. Developed, enhanced, and maintained various SharePoint-based applications for engineering, research, testing, and related files management.

    • Designed dynamic sites and real-time dashboards using frontend expertise
    • Developed solutions for automating invoice reporting and notifications
